Muses Orchestra, is an all-women string orchestra of 14 outstanding performers.
The fourteen exceptional musicians are members of Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Opéra de Paris, Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine etc. However they regularly also come together to perform in chamber music groups or as a bigger orchestra.
Muses Orchestra’s programs start with energetic and uplifting classical pieces, that then lead to some pieces performed by a renowned soloist, and finish with modern tunes played on electric instruments.
The all women group represents the most uplifting qualities of the #girlpower being expressed today in our international contemporary culture, as well as the embrace of new technology.
Camille Saint-Saëns who wrote a cantata for the 1900 World’s Fair in Paris called The Celestial Fire which was meant as a metaphor for the arrival of domestic electricity, is in fact one of their favorite artists due to his “ART & SCIENCE” philosophy.
Muses Orchestra often performs Camille Saint-Saëns “Danse Macabre”, as an homage to this visionary composer.
Muses Orchestra welcomes collaborations and is highly skilled at integrating the repertoires proposed by the concert promoters they work with internationally.
